How do you inject your dead baits for winter pike fishing?
We have been using fish oils for a while now. Well, let us talk thru how we do it.
There are a couple of flavors you would like Natural Predator, Pilchard ‘N’ Crab Oil flavor and then you've got the Red Predator, which is full of dye. It's superb stuff.
Before using Red Predator you need to give it a good shake because it's full of die. When it comes to injecting your bait, the way we do it, is to have your bait mounted on your trace and then put it on the deck. Add oil to the syringe and inject it two or three times on each side. That's it, simple as that. All you need to do now is clip trace with deadbait full of oils on the mainline and cast it out!
Never inject dead bait by holding the bait in your hand . Try to avoid direct contact if possible with oil the last thing you want to do is get your hand completely covered in this stuff as well because it stinks and it's a bugger to get off.
