Westin Ricky the Roach Shadtail R2F 14cm 57g Christmas Edition 2026 – Limited Ready-to-Fish Pike Lure
The Westin Ricky the Roach Shadtail R2F 14cm 57g Christmas Edition 2026 is a limited seasonal version of one of Westin’s most recognisable roach-profile pike lures. Each lure is supplied in blacked-out mystery packaging, with seven exclusive Christmas colour designs in the collection and one ultra-rare pattern appearing in only 2% of packs.
The R2F ready-to-fish format means the lure comes prepared for immediate use, removing the need to select and fit separate rigging components before fishing. At 14cm and 57g, it offers a strong roach-style baitfish profile with a shadtail action suited to searching water and triggering pike around structure, weed and open areas.
On Irish lakes, rivers and canals, the 57g weight gives useful casting control in wind while remaining manageable on standard predator tackle. The shadtail creates consistent movement on the retrieve, making the lure practical around weed edges, drop-offs and deeper margins where pike may be holding.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers
Roach-style prey profiles are a practical choice for pike fishing on many Irish waters, and the 14cm body gives enough presence to attract attention without moving into true heavyweight lure territory. The 57g weight also provides useful casting distance and control when fishing exposed lakes or breezy conditions.
The ready-rigged R2F format is particularly convenient when conditions change quickly and anglers want to spend more time fishing rather than preparing tackle. The limited Christmas colours add a collectible element, while the lure itself remains fully suited to regular pike fishing throughout the season.
